News, Editorial and Photo Contest Kits Online; Ad Contest Info Coming Soon
Electronic entry kits and forms for the 2007 VPA News, Editorial & Photo Contest now are available online at the VPA Web site.
Go to www.vpa.net, and click on “Contests” at the bottom of the page.
The entry kits are for Windows, Mac OS 9 (Classic) and Mac OSX users. However, a technical glitch from the Stuffit program
manufacturer would not permit VPA to compress the Mac OSX kit; therefore, it is a very large file and may take extra time to
download.
Stuffit’s Web site is offering a free download of the Stuffit Expander (http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/ index.html).
Also, VPA is offering CDs with the kit to any association member who uses OSX. If you need a CD, please send an e-mail to
billa@vpa.net.
Members can download instructions on how to use the electronic entry kits from the Web site. Forms also are available for
contest rules, entry certifications and competition groups. For members who prefer the “old-fashioned way” to enter, manual
entry forms are available.
Also this month, information on the 2007 VPA Advertising Contest will be posted online. Watch future postings of Virginias
E-Press for that information.
If you have any questions about the entry process or the contest, please contact Stephanie McCraw, VPA member services
manager, at (804) 521-7578 or stephaniem@vpa.net.
